SEAN P. TRIES ANYTHING TO GET THE KING OF THE BEACH TITLE; INCLUDING TAKING OUT ONE
OF THE TOUR'S PHOTOGRAPHERS. THE PHOTOGRAPHER STILL GOT THE SHOT. SEAN, HOWEVER, DID NOT GET THE TITLE.
Event Notes
The hottest day on the tour coincided with the tour's toughest competition format - the King of the Beach.
With the hot sun beating down, no wind to cool the competitors, and scorching sands that would burn the flesh off lesser players,
would be teammates were pitted against one another as each sought to
prove that they were the King/Queen of the beach. The top ranked players eventually were knocked off until there was only one individual in each division.
In the Men's divisions, Nick Rank was the reigning uvA King and Ted Hile was the uvB King. The women's division crowned Barb DeCarr as the uvA
Queen. (There was no women's uvB competition for Queen.)
