EVENT NOTES:

The Swimmer's Itch Classic yielded the best weather for an event on the tour this summer. The temps were in the mid to upper 80s with little to no wind at all. Players had to seek other excuses for their dismal performances.

Barb DeCarr continuing her long reign as Queen once again came out on top in the Women's Division. However, DeCarr's game appears to be eroding away and she even dropped a game in the playoff round. It may still be too early to tell if career-wise she has peaked and is slowly fading into the sunset.

The Men's Division, saw the crown change hands once again, and end up on the head of new king, Scott Gregory. Gregory's win made him the first player to wear the crown during each tour of the UVA's existence. "I'll probably take some money I've set aside (UVA membership funds) and go on a nice vacation to Puerto Rico to celebrate. When I get back (because the money is gone), I'll probably cancel some events on the tour to extend my title and really milk this."
