i WHAT IS UNDERGROUND VOLLEYBALL? i

So, what is  this Underground Volleyball of America (UVA) thing anyway? You probably have guessed it has something to do with the sport of volleyball.  Good guess!  But a more accurate description would be that  the UVA has EVERYTHING to do with the sport of volleyball!
Its no surprise that in only our first year of existence, that we are so widely popular in the volleyball community.  Its our dedication, expertise, and years of know-how experience that make all of our  volleyball endeavors  first rate.  You name it, the UVA does it!
Indoor/outdoor, hardwood/sand/grass, 2s/3s/4s/6s, men/women/co-ed, leagues/events/tours.

The UVA has something to offer everyone including:

• PLAYERS looking for competition and fun can play in our tournaments, team up for our leagues, or sign up for the UVA tour!


• BUSINESSES can use the UVA to professionally manage its leagues or the hosting of an event.


• AND SPONSORS who can tap into one of the hottest sports in the country and the UVA's network of players and fans to showcase their products and services.

The UVA currently has 3 teams playing in the national program, USA Volleyball.  These teams play in events around NY from November until April.  There are 2 men's teams that play at A/BB level and 1 women's team that plays at the A/AA level.
Last year, the men's team placed 2nd in A regionals the women's team won the AA regionals.

The UVA gives something back to the generous community and the people that support us.
In 1996, the UVA donated over $1500 to local charity and not-for-profit organizations.
During the holiday season, we held our 1st annual charity event. Each year the UVA will give all proceeds to a different charity.

Underground Volleyball of America  is an organization based in Central NY that is aimed at providing fun and competitive volleyball in this area.The goal is to not only provide for local players and attract outside players. but to keep  their patronage of businesses local. This is just one way that the UVA helps support the local economy.
